Welcome to Great Lakes Pearl Dragons – Dragon Boat Club

Bringing the thrill of dragon boating to the Forster, Tuncurry and surrounding Great Lakes area

Dragon boating is a team sport and Great Lakes Pearl Dragons offer training sessions four days of the week. 

Our training days are:

• Monday 5.15pm-6.30pm
• Wednesday 5.45am-7.00am
• Friday 5.45am-7.00am
• Saturday 7.15am-9.00am (Active Recreational)

As a Club we compete at regional regattas, metro regattas plus the State and National Championships. Our teams have also competed overseas in New Zealand, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Borneo. We are also proud to say our Members have, and still do, represent the region, state and national teams.

Our Coaches and Sweeps are strong - regularly updating their training and goals, passing on essential information to the Club to keep us all informed and up to date.

We welcome all levels of members.  If you want to compete or just enjoy a social paddle, there is a place for you.
